Upcoming Events
I am thrilled to announce that the farm will be open to the public for the first time this season. Last year, I expanded the farm on a beautiful plot in Califon, NJ. Moving my growing operation from my home residence to this space has allowed me to expand my ever-growing obsession with dahlias! It was a big move and this season, we planted over 2,500 tubers. September and October are when the dahlias really are in their glory.
We have spent countless hours shaping this property into what it is today. We ask that guests honor this. If damage is done to our plants, we will have to reconsider opening the farm to the public.

Guided Tour:
Dahlia Cutting Garden
The garden will be open for the month of September showcasing all the beautiful cultivars I have grown, thanks to my many helping hands this season.
Details:
Join me for a 1.5 hour guided cutting tour in the dahlia patch where you’ll cut blooms for a stunning 10-15 stem bouquet (included in ticket price). Want even more blooms? You can harvest as many blooms as you’d like for $6 a stem.
What We Provide:
Fresh water to keep your blooms hydrated - dahlias do best when hydrated right after the plant has been cut.
What You Should Bring:
A sturdy bucket for your blooms.
Snips to cut your blooms. Scissors are not adequate. We will have professional ARS clippers, the same that we use in the field, available to purchase for $25.
Reminder: make sure you dress appropriately for this event. Boots or closed- toe shoes, and pants are recommended. The fields are often wet in the mornings.

Terms and Conditions
By booking a photography session, you agree to the terms as described below.
Farm Safety:
Our primary concern is for the safety of our employees and guests at the farm.
While we keep the field as free from hazards as possible, it is important to realize that this is a working farm - not a manicured garden.
Guests need to be aware that there may be things like uneven ground — rocks, sticks, posts (for supporting dahlias), and/or other hazards to be mindful of.
It is recommended guests wear closed-toe shoes.
Farm Rules:
Each booking grants ONE photographer use of the fields for their one hour block. If photographers go over their time block they will be charged $75 every 20 minutes.
Guests are not allowed to cut or remove flowers from plants in the field. If any damage is done to the farm, you will be asked to leave immediately and will not be refunded.
It is the photographer’s responsibility to make sure this is clear to all their clients on the farm and assure they are following this rule.
If flowers are wanted for part of the shoot, this can be arranged for an extra fee by contacting us via email.
Guests are responsible to remove all trash or items they bring onto the farm such as food, wrappers, bottles, etc.
Guests and photographers are expected to be respectful of other guests time and space on the farm. There is lots of space available for everyone. If you are concerned about having enough space or time, you can book all available slots for your shoot. There are 2 openings for each time slot for the day.
***The first time you book with us we may ask you for your Tax ID number and proof of insurance***
Due to the seasonality of flowers, we cannot guarantee the exact flower varieties that will be in bloom at the time of your appointment. The prime season for our annual field should be August 25th to September 19th. Prime season for dahlias should be September 8th to October 4th.
Please e-mail if you would like to schedule a time that is not listed.
