Feline Yvonne-IMPORT
Feline Yvonne is an IMPORT ROOT/CLUMP
This year I am trialing more imported varieties from Holland. We carefully select and inspect every clump. Since I do not wish to purchase tubers from other domestic farms due to virus issues, I rather trial more affordable varieties that come from Holland. This is shared for transparency purposes as I would like to inform everyone where the tuber originates. Many domestic farms are sourcing hard to find varieties from all over the world. This practice is not uncommon. I am looking forward to grow Feline Yvonne in my garden this year. Extras are offered at a very affordable price. Each and every clump has a visible eye and will grow into a beautiful plant. I do not guarantee if this plant will be up to your standards. If you notice sings of stress, abnormal growth please proceed as your growing standards tells you. I am constantly inspecting every plant and discarding plant material that has a sing of virus or bacterial infection. We cannot grow in a bubble or in a sterile interment. It is impossible. So please proceed as your standards are advising you.

Tuber Quality
Dahlia tubers are hand selected and closely monitored over winter in storage for the sole purpose to sell the best possible product for our customers. As an active dahlia collector myself quality tubers matter to me the most. Shipping healthy tubers is a priority at our small farm. Dahlias are stored in peat moss and given perfect conditions to overwinter our harsh winter climate.
Tubers will be marked by variety name and packed with care. A dahlia planting guide will be sent with your order. Please follow the guide as a general rule of taking care of the tubers/plants. We are in zone 6b here in Nj so planting happens somewhere mid-May after our last frost. Please take the guide and fit into your climate and your particular garden area/zone. Each one of us has different growing conditions.
You know your garden so use it what works for you when you plant those precious tubers. If there is a problem with your ordered tubers, please reach out via email in the first week of your received order and let us what is the issue. Tubers come in many shapes and sizes and all depends on weather and soil conditions. We are a no-till sustainable farm and we do not use any kind of harsh chemicals/pesticides on our fields. Tubers are a reflection of our excellent soil nutrition which we keep in check every half a year.
Upon arrival, please store your tubers in a cool dark area above freezing temperatures between 40-50 degree F. We do not take responsibility of poor growing conditions, insect pressure or any weather/related damage.
